ABOUT US...

Shooters Union NSW Inc. is a sports shooting club dedicated to all disciplines available within the current legislation and is actively planning the creation of new disciplines such as Modified 3 Gun and Small bore Cowboy Action . Our political pursuits are headed by parent organization Shooters Union Australia.

Growing from small numbers in 2006 (in NSW) the club has grown and attracted shooters from all over NSW to the main club in Sydney and the Sub Committee, South West Slopes Shooters at Boorowa .

In 2012 the South West Slopes Shooters headed by Mike Crockford undertook the Boorowa Range Project,

Set to provide a vast shooting complex to cater for all shooting disciplines. The establishment of this range will underpin and pave the way for additional ranges around the state administered by their respective subcommittees.

It is projected that as Shooters Union NSW grows additional "subcommittees" in various locations around the state will provide more accessible locations for shooters from other parts of the state. Ranges in all states across the country is the ultimate goal, with unity and the appropriate amount of financial commitment from shooters it is possible to achieve in the very near future.

 The Shooters Union of Australia represent the rights of recreational & professional shooters, hunters, collectors, firearms dealers, farmers and competitive club shooters across Australia. 
We are actively working at all levels of the Australian Government to instill sensible firearm reform that protects the rights of firearm users whilst protecting the safety of Australian public. 
We work tirelessly to stop the discrimination against firearm owners and users, to reform firearm regulations and to stop the anti-gun/anti-gun owner rhetoric that is flooding the Australian Media.
